7. Marketplace Guidelines & Policies

Seller Account & Dashboard

Bannu Book now offers registered seller accounts. Once you create a free account, you gain access to your personal seller dashboard where you can:

• Upload new products directly to the marketplace
• Edit product details, prices, and images at any time
• Delete or deactivate your listings immediately
• Monitor the status of all your active listings

We strongly encourage sellers to use their dashboard to remove or update listings promptly, especially once a product has been sold.

Product Listing Duration

Important: All approved marketplace listings are automatically published for a period of 10 days from the approval date. After 10 days, listings are automatically removed from the marketplace. You may re-list a product at any time via your dashboard.

Listing Approval Process

• All marketplace submissions are reviewed by our admin team before publishing
• Approval typically takes 24–48 hours
• We reserve the right to reject listings that violate our policies
• Once approved, the listing will appear on the marketplace and in your dashboard

Listing Requirements

• Products must be accurately described with clear, relevant images
• Contact information provided must be valid and reachable
• Pricing must be honest and reasonable
• Product condition must be accurately stated (New, Used - Like New, Used - Good, Used - Fair)

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being listed on our marketplace:

• Illegal goods, weapons, explosives, or controlled substances
• Fraudulent, counterfeit, or stolen products
• Adult content or services
• Live animals (pets may be allowed with proper documentation)
• Hazardous or dangerous materials

Seller Responsibilities

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings
• Sellers must manage their active listings through their dashboard
• Sellers must respond promptly to buyer inquiries via the contact number provided
• Sellers must remove listings for sold products immediately via their dashboard
• Sellers are responsible for all transactions, delivery, and payment arrangements with buyers

Bannu Book's Role

• Bannu Book acts only as a listing platform to connect buyers and sellers
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed
• We are not responsible for disputes, fraud, or issues between buyers and sellers
• We do not handle payments, shipping, or delivery
• All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers at their own risk

Privacy in Marketplace

• Your contact information (phone number) will be publicly visible to potential buyers
• Product images you upload will be publicly accessible on the marketplace
• Your display name and location will be shown with your listing
• We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information (CNIC, home address, etc.) in product descriptions

Listing Removal

Listings may be removed before the 10-day period in the following cases:

• Seller removes the listing via their dashboard (product sold or no longer available)
• Seller requests removal via email or WhatsApp
• Listing violates our policies or contains prohibited content
• Listing contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Multiple user reports or complaints about the listing

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and account registration is not permitted for users under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

• User Accounts: Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time
• Directory Listings: Remain active until you or an admin requests removal
• Marketplace Listings: Automatically removed after 10 days from approval date, or immediately upon seller deletion via dashboard
• Contact Information: Retained as long as your listing or account is active
• Submission Records: May be retained for administrative purposes even after listing removal

10. International Users

Our website is operated from Pakistan. If you are accessing our website from outside Pakistan, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers (including Google Firebase) operate.
